The Funhouse

The Glow Ups were a series of AI-generated ads I built for MVHQ. They started as a spin-off of the Joey Bags project — down-on-their-luck characters finding redemption through the MVHQ community. Each video was written, voiced, and edited entirely by automation.

I trained a Flux Dev model on Big Ed from 90 Day Fiancé. Fifty images, countless regrets. The goal: create a new character named Joey Bags — a man perpetually down on his luck, searching for purpose in AI-generated ads. He never found it, but I found something else instead: automation magic.

It won’t win Cannes, but the fact it works at all is the story. I made a fake luxury car commercial using Flux for frames and Kling for motion. Cut it in CapCut and leaned into the moody cinematic “young rich guy who has it all” energy.

I trained a Flux Dev model on George Clooney because I’m a massive Ocean’s 11 fan. Then I built a Telegram bot that could reply to crypto tweets in his voice — Danny Oxean, gentleman thief of the blockchain. What started as a meme turned into a full content system experiment.
