Berachain

When Berachain’s testnet launched, they needed a creative way to stress-test the blockchain, and we had a brand-new social points platform at MVHQ that needed testing too. The result was a full-scale campaign built around a cinematic, anime-inspired ad and an entire set of supporting visuals: NFT artwork, social media promos, Discord ads, and platform graphics that tied everything together.

I helped shape the concept, storyboard the narrative, and handled everything from editing and sound design to visual effects and promotional assets. Working with my teammate and friend Derek Jutz, we set out to make something that felt equal parts meme and masterpiece.

Derek knew from the start it was a strong idea. He experimented endlessly to find the right AI models and LoRAs, dialing in the perfect look for the anime visuals. Once we had the visual foundation, I built the motion, compositing, and audio layers—blending AI-generated art with old school After Effects.

The campaign became one of the biggest in MVHQ’s history: over 100k participants joined the mission, more than 1 million NFTs were minted on Berachain’s testnet, and the ad itself reached 631k views with 80k bookmarks on Twitter. It was a huge success that stress-tested the chain, and pushed our new platform to scale. I learned a lot and it was a real turning point for what I thought could be possible with new AI tools.
